Montréal, QC, September 3, 2025 – Alqamüv, the Montreal-based art and design house redefining luxury spaces with its kinetic crystal grids, is proud to announce its official debut at Dîner en Blanc Montréal on Friday, September 5, 2025. In celebration of the event’s 15th anniversary, Alqamüv will unveil a handcrafted, immersive photo booth experience featuring its iconic white grid, the Halo.
Founded by Vincent Charland, President and CTO, Linda Rosenberg, Crystal Grid Architect, and Rose Berthomieux, Master Artisan and Creative Director, Alqamüv has become synonymous with innovation, artistry, and design precision. For this year’s theme, “Elegance in Bloom,” the founders have designed an installation that reflects the luminous purity of Dîner en Blanc while elevating it into a transformative artistic experience.
The Halo is more than art, it is a frequency-based design object programmed with crystals placed at intentional points to amplify ambiance, heighten emotion, and create unforgettable shared moments. Within the photo booth setting, the Halo acts as an absolute amplifier, turning every image into something radiant, charged, and unforgettable.
“The Halo is as much an engineering achievement as it is an artistic statement,” says Charland, President and CTO of Alqamüv. “We spent years refining a mechanism that could sustain constant motion while remaining silent, safe, and durable. It represents what happens when advanced engineering and timeless design meet.”
Linda Rosenberg, Alqamüv’s Crystal Grid Architect, is responsible for the design and energetic alignment of the crystal layouts that bring each grid to life. “Every crystal is placed with purpose, using the natural systems of growth as our guide,” says Rosenberg. “It ensures that what guests experience is not only visually striking, but also energetically balanced.”
Rose Berthomieux, Master Artisan and Creative Director, led the design of the photo booth itself, creating a fully handmade installation inspired by the theme of “Elegance in Bloom.” Known as a master colorist, Berthomieux has spent years shaping the visual identity of Alqamüv’s grids, from painting the intricate layers to envisioning immersive environments. “This booth represents the culmination of my artistic life’s work,” she explains. “From the very first sketch to the last brushstroke, every element was crafted by hand. It is an immersive environment that honors the elegance of Dîner en Blanc while allowing guests to step inside something truly extraordinary.”
